The Out of Body Experience is an alternative rock/moon rock band from Portland, Oregon with Montana roots. Brothers, Jaben Tritten (vocals/guitar) and Jordan Tritten (vocals/keys/guitar,) along with John Zorn (bass) and Mark Muusse (drums) make up the group. Formed in late 2015, the band has already gained traction throughout the Northwest part of the United States, headlining concerts and festivals in Oregon, Washington, and Montana.

Their style of music differs from anything out there right now. Some influences include Muse, Foo Fighters, The Killers, and Coldplay, but their sound is unique in it's own way. With two EP's and a few music videos released, listeners of all ages and walks of life are pleased with the music they create. With powerful vocal harmonies and meaningful lyrics from two brothers, beautiful guitar and keyboard melodies, driving rhythm from drums and bass, and a high energy performance, their live show is a must-see.

The three young men have only just begun on their journey to achieve their dreams. Their drive for their passion of music will get them where they need to be. The EP, "Silver Lining," is now available on all major platforms!

Jaben Tritten

Born: March 5, 1995

Jaben Tritten is a singer/song-writer/guitarist, born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. He records and performs vocals and guitar for The Out of Body Experience. 

Being around music his whole childhood, he learned piano, was in high-school choir, and taught himself how to play acoustic guitar. It wasn't until he joined the band that he decided to hone in on his lead guitar skills.

After moving to Portland in 2014, he knew he wanted to start a band and pursue his music career. He and his brother, Jordan, began recording folk music under the alias The Tritten Brothers. A year later, they would find the third member and change the band name to The Out of Body Experience. 

You can find his solo work and collaborations through the name Jaben Tritten Music.

Jordan Tritten

Born: July 30, 1993

Jordan Tritten is a multi-instrumentalist from Kalispell, Montana. He does vocals, keyboard, and guitar for The Out of Body Experience. 

He started music from a young age, first learning piano and vocals. He played trombone in high-school band and was in choir from middle-school and high-school to college. After college, he went on to play trombone for a funk band in Seattle, Washingtin called D20 Brass Band. That is when he found his calling to become a full-time musician, teaching himself the guitar, banjo, and ukelele.

In 2014, he moved to Portland, Oregon to start the duo, The Tritten Brothers. Shortly after, he brushed up his piano knowledge to play keys for and form The Out of Body Experience.

John Zorn
John Zorn

Born: February 23, 1994

Influences: Syd Barrett, twenty one pilots, Imogen Heap, Tool

A drummer first, a bassist by necessity, John Zorn is the bass player for The Out of Body Experience. He is from Kalispell, Montana.

John began playing drums in the 6th grade, then moved on to play stand-up bass in his high-school orchestra, sing in multiple choirs, and play drums for his high-school band and the local symphony.

Upon moving to Portland, Oregon, he began hanging out with Jaben and Jordan Tritten, who he knew from his hometown. After a month of hearing the two talk about needing a bassist, he remembered, "Oh, yeah! I can sorta play bass." That's how The Out of Body Experience came to be.
